Aztec jungle in Cadbury World, Yanni live at the Acropolis, collective nouns like ‘kaleidoscope,’ the iconic Maharaja mascot once synonymous with Air India, Amar Chitra Katha, and The Jungle Book—these were just a few of the fascinating realms our young quizzers explored during the 6th season of the Bhavans Inter-School Quiz (BISQ), hosted by Pearl Wisdom School, Dubai. This year marked the 5th time that Bhavans Middle East collaborated with Dr. Nithish T. Jacob and his team at Q Collective, who delivered an intellectually enriching experience for all involved. With seamless organization and carefully crafted questions, Q Collective demonstrated once again its mastery in curating quizzes that transcend simple memory recall. In an age where information is just a click away, Q Collective embodies a shift toward cultivating critical thinking, reasoning, and 21st-century skills. Rather than testing memory, this quiz challenged students to ‘think beyond the obvious,’ inviting them to uncover hidden clues and approach each question with a fresh perspective. Dr. Nithish’s calm demeanour, meticulous rule-setting, and his team’s promptness in scoring ensured the quiz ran smoothly, creating a welcoming environment that encouraged students to embrace the thrill of competition. The questions were perfectly tailored to Grades 6, 7, and 8, engaging not only the young minds but also organizers and teachers alike. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Q Collective for yet another successful collaboration. It was truly a battle of brains and a rattle of skills, setting a high bar for the Bhavans Inter-School Quiz and leaving us all eager for future endeavours with this outstanding team.

We, at SBOA Public (Sr. Sec.) School, EKM, had the pleasure of collaborating with Q Collective for our recent interschool quiz competition, and the experience was truly exceptional. From the very beginning, their team brought in a wonderful blend of professionalism, creativity, and warmth. We, at Riju and PSK Classes, believe that Education is a dynamic, evolving process which stays with a child for a lifetime. Q Collective is an organization that has similar goals and helps to bring out young talented brains to the limelight. The various activities that they have successfully conducted till now, prove how much of an impact they have created in young children who consider knowledge to be the most powerful weapon. We feel that Q Collective has been able to bring about a new educational culture, wherein education is not just about spoon-fed, bookish knowledge, but also includes various other aspects to learn from. Being a participant and follower of major quizzing programs in my school days had played an important role in improving my opinion formation and reasoning while preparing for the civil service examination. Recognising its potential we had invited Q Collective to conduct a quizzing session as part of our voter awareness campaign amongst the youth. The election quiz that they conducted was extremely informative and earned praise from participants and audience alike. I wish Q Collective all the success in their future endeavours.
